My Father

       A person who is good enough not only studies well, and mainly his experience and stories. My father was born in a poor family. When he was a child, the family only had enough money for one child to study, so my father gave the opportunity to his little sister, my aunt. My father went out to work to earn money when he was young. He did a waiter, a singer, a driver. He tried a variety of jobs, but in the end, he found them unsuitable for him. At that time, China was developing rapidly, and infrastructure had a lot of things needed to be built, so my father chose to be an engineer. His choice changed our family.

At the beginning, my father could only be a migrant worker because he had no education. He works ten hours a day because he wants to make more money, so he can have the opportunity to study. In the first few months, he did not have enough money to buy an engineering book, so he went to the library to borrow the book and spent a week copying the whole book into a notebook and returning it. In that time, the company only paid every three months. When my father got his first paycheck, he bought some engineering books. He worked during the day and studied at night.

In addition, my father working and studying full time, he had his own team which is construction team after two years. He started getting government projects with his team. When he settled down in his job, he took time off to take college courses and finally got his diploma in Hebei University. My father and his team went to Beijing after about three years because my father thought they could make more money there and they became a construction company. All the money that my father earned was spent on the family except for his own education.

Finally, our family moved to Beijing and I began to study there. I remember very well the first time I came to Beijing, I saw very tall buildings, and I was afraid that they would collapse. It took me a long time to get used to life in the capital. At first, the family source of income came from my father, but soon my mother and my grandfather found their own jobs in Beijing to share the family's stress. A few years later, I graduated from high school and went to study in the United States with my father's encouragement.

In conclusion, whenever I decide that I do not have the motivation to study, I think about my father's experience. My father had great ambition, and I admire and respect him very much. His experience focuses on doing things, and his dedication to his dreams laid the foundation for our family. I will study hard to be a family influencer like my father keep working hard for his dream that a better life for our family.
